Mid-Week 01-07-2013

On days like today my only goal is to get stronger
and healthier. – Gene

What has been
happening so far this week?

The US market
started the year with a 3 day 3% pullback BUT I do not think this is going to
be the start of a 10 % or more correction because there is NOT a negative
catalyst at this time

Today was the
rebound that we should have had yesterday

The “talking
heads” believe that profits were being taken the first three days of the year
to pay the taxes on those gain in 2014?
Doesn’t really make sense to me why anyone would delay taxes when taxes
appear to be going up.  These type of
comments make me wonder if the “talking heads” have any clue to what is really
going on!!!!!

Where will our
market end this week?

In all honesty I
really don’t know because we have the catalyst for the month of January
starting this week –

What Catalysts –
Earnings and Ave Workweek

Nothing else has
changed from the end of last year so I would expect a 2 to 3% growth this month
in the S&P 500 which would put it close to 1900 at the end of January

BUT I think the
growth this year comes from Value stock (blue chips), Individual companies,
Tech, Materials loosely, and Financials

DJIA – Building
a base right now and 16,400

SPX – Also looks
like it is building a base at 1820

COMP –  Still heading up and it looks like it had the
typical pullback before the next leg higher

Where Will the
SPX end January 2013?

1900 or higher –                  My vote is technically 1883.4 up 3% from

1875 –

1850 –

1825 –

1800 or lower –

This was a truly extraordinary post. In principle I might want to form as this too – requiring some investment and genuine exertion to make strong Information.
